10 Years of Building Bridges

Over the past 10 years, KMC has established itself as an annual event that musicians from all over the world look forward to participating in 10 to 12 months in advance or more.
For the next 10 years, the KMC Executive board looks to not only continue that tradition, but to also expand the realm of what KMC can do, to include visual art as well as music.

Bridging Cultures

"I love the heart of KMC. I had the experience of meeting new people and feeling an instant, easy connection, . . . walking away with new contacts and several new photos with Japanese, American, Senegalese, and Kenyan friends."
- Darcy Staddon (US/Hiroshima), KMC 2018

"I was able to book 12 additional shows in Japan, sold a lot of albums and made contacts."
- Rob Moir (Canada), KMC 2017

"My ENTIRE music career changed overnight after I toured Japan and performed at KMC and I keep getting stronger in the industry each year. KMC ROCKS!!!" - Katya (US), KMC 2012, 2013, 2015

"KMC was the first step for me to be an international artist...sharing music with many musicians from various countries, I think we could feel the Building Bridges with Music theme." - Blackuro (Osaka), KMC 2012 & 2013

"I've met more people from around the world at KMC than I have anywhere else in my life."
- Dale Campbell (UK), KMC 2009-2011
